Darren Tussaud

Darren started in Estate Agency at 17 and quickly proved himself. Darren has since developed extensive knowledge of Thurrock and surrounding areas. With over seven years' experience in Estate Agency, and has been successful in every role involved in the job. Darren loves valuing property and finding the right buyer. With a friendly personality, Darren is able to help you through the process of buying and selling with a fantastic level of customer service every step of the way. Outside of work, Darren is a big sports fan and tries to watch as much Football and Basketball as he can. Darren also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Daniel Shovlin

Daniel is the branch manager of our Stanford le Hope office and is the smiliest employee we have. Daniel has been in Estate Agency for well over a decade and has worked in Thurrock all his career. Most of Daniels business comes from recommendations, with service being of paramount importance to Daniel. Daniel supports Newcastle United, and away from work, Daniel enjoys spending time with family.

CARL TEMME (MNAEA) (MARLA)

Carl became an estate agent in 1995. Carl & Steve English first worked with each other for a firm called Quirk Deakin in early 2000 and have always wanted to open a branch in Stanford le Hope covering the whole of Thurrock.

Carl is particularly proud of having established a successful business during challenging trading conditions and puts the success down to a combination of working with great people, undying enthusiasm and hard work. He cites the growing use of technology as the biggest and fastest-moving change during his time in the industry.

He says that "meeting new and interesting people" is one of the most enjoyable aspects of his role and that estate agency is the "perfect career for him and that there is no way he would do anything else."

He wouldn't be drawn on the funniest or strangest things that have happened to him during his career other than to say "There have been a few, but they will have to remain secret!"

Away from work, Carl enjoys time with his wife and their three young children, although the occasional round of golf is never far away!

Looking to the future, Carl is focused on making Temme English a respected name and the "agent of choice" throughout Essex.

STEVE ENGLISH (MNAEA) (MARLA)

Steve and Carl worked together from the Millenium before forming Temme English in 2010. Working in Stanford le Hope then was also one of Steves most enjoyable areas.

Steve recognises the importance of relationships with clients and customers and enjoys helping them during what can be a very tense and stressful time. He values the start to finish nature of the business which commences from the initial valuation right through to the day of completion and places great emphasis on guiding the transaction past any hurdles that may arise.

Steve believes that the levels of customer service have improved significantly during his time in the industry and welcoming the many new regulations to put a better trust in our industry.

Like Carl, Steve has the ambition of building Temme English into a leading estate agency business within the areas covered and is very proud of what they and the team have achieved to date, having started from scratch in May 2010.

Away from work, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and children, Rosie and Stanley.

Alisha Mercer

Alisha is the Lettings Manager and shining star within our Lettings & Property Management Department. Always happy and full of energy with a wealth of knowledge and advice, she loves to share. 

Alisha started her career in Estate Agency when she was only 16, so she has already dedicated eight years doing what she does best and loves to do! In her spare time, Alisha is a real family person. Being one of five girls, she spends much of her spare time with her lovely family, but if she's out with friends, she will usually be found 'brunching' and most likely with a glass of Prosecco in hand!
